The Journey Project Benefit Concert

Okay...three more days until the big Benefit Concert! Please feel free to come. It is a free concert at Josephine Crossing...south of Big Splah on Mullowney Lane! Starts at 7PM. Bring a blanket or chair and enjoy absolutely amazing talent with the top musicians in the city! We will be taking a donation to support the cause! See you there on friday! We will be selling water, ice cream, and t-shirts!

June 2009 had garage sale fundraiser and raised enough money for half of our homestudy!

Where we are at!

May 2009 accepted application from Illien adoptions international.
June 2009 working on finishing our homestudy through Lutheran social services.
July 2009 hopefully get our homestudy finished...work in progress!

In the beginning...

Well...here we go! Zach and I decided in April of '09 to start the adoption process. We have always wanted to adopt from Africa and since there are only a couple countries in Africa that allow adoptions... our choice was easy. Some friends helped us pick an agency and we are well on our way! We have decided to adopt a little girl from Ethiopia. We are working with Illien adoption agency. We are so excited to start our family! We have decided to name her "journey"...hence the journey project! To help raise money we are having a benefit concert on July 24th from 7:00-9:00 at Josephine Crossing! We would like to start a nonprofit organization that helps other families adopt and raise funds to do so. We would love prayer and support through the process! We will keep you posted!
